Dennis Kratochvil

Dennis B. Kratochvil (Company President) Dennis is a fourth generation plumber, and he feels that he could not have picked a greater profession to be in. He enjoys meeting and helping people and improving their quality of life. Dennis enjoys getting up and going to work early. He feels that he is surrounded by the best co-workers possible. Their attitudes and their concern for their co-workers and clients make each day a great day. Dennis is blessed to have three wonderful children, a great wife and many amazing friends. He grew up in Chesterland and believes Northeast Ohio is one of the greatest places to live and raise his family. They keep the family busy with sports and various activities. They enjoy water sports, camping, the outdoors, skiing and community activities such as baseball and soccer.

Leona Kratochvil

Leona graduated from John Carroll University with a BA in education. After teaching middle school for several years, she ventured into the Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling industry. In 1989, she became entrenched in the industry and has been working with clients ever since. She is the proud mother of three children and lives in the Munson area.


Eric Dunlap

My name is Eric Dunlap (Plumbing Operations Manager). I’ve been a plumber since 1984 and with our company since 1987. I have a wife, four children, and seven grandchildren. I take a lot of pride in the work I do. I believe every client should be respected, given options and always do what’s in their best interest. I am a third generation plumber and State Master Plumber.

Andrew Germ

My name is Andrew Germ. I have been with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for a total of 6 years, but I have been a plumber for eight years. I love to help other people with plumbing problems. I own my home in Willowick. I am married, have a beautiful daughter and a dog.

Bret Kratochvil

My name is Bret Kratochvil.  I have been involved with the company since I was very young and started as a full-time employee in 2011. I enjoy working with the other technicians, gaining hands-on experience and getting to know our clients and their individual needs. I enjoy diagnosing a plumbing or septic problem and being able to solve a problem quickly for our clients. I have completed class I, II and III heavy equipment training at PTS and am NCCER certified. I also carry a Class A CDL license.

Eric Dunlap Jr AKA Bud

I am a fourth generation plumber following in my father’s footsteps. I am happily married and have a son. In my spare time I like to exercise, camp, hunt, play sports and coach football.

Gary Mills

Hi, I’m Gary, and I am a technician at Benjamin Franklin. I was born in 1979 and have been working at the company since 1996. I am married and have a son. I love the outdoors, camping, boating, fishing, dirt bike riding, etc.

Paul Donato

Hi, I’m Paul Donato. I’ve been in the plumbing trade since 2007. I was born in 1976. I’m married and have two sons and a daughter. I live in the Chardon area enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family.

Tyler Woodworth

I started with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in 2016. I live in Roaming Shores with my wife and 5 children. I enjoy boating, fishing and spending time with my family.  

Ron Laurent

My name is Ronald W. Laurent. I joined the Ben Franklin Company April 2007. I have approximately 30 years experience as a waste water technician and design and operation specialist. I enjoy the challenge of helping people solve their waste water problems. Hobbies include Golfing, fishing and boating.

Zak Nockowski

I started with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and DeBord’s One Hour in 201.  I am often the second set of hands on a job that requires more than one technician. I enjoy working with the the technicians, gaining hands on experience and getting to know our clients and their individual needs. When I’m not at work I enjoy working out and spending time with my family and friends. 

Diane McArdle

I am the Customer Service Representative that takes your calls and keeps your invoices straight. I joined the company in January of 2005 and enjoyed working with the public, as well as the daily challenge of the companies accounting. I’ve lived in Geauga County my whole life, and get a lot of satisfaction out of helping my neighbors and clients.

Joe Kinkoph

I have been a dispatcher at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing & One Hour since 2008. I love what I do because I have the opportunity to work closely with technicians and customers. I try to ensure that each and every customer is treated how I would expect to be treated.

Lisa Giles

I joined the company in 2006 and had a wide variety of duties in the office. I am married, and our children are four cats and a horse. I enjoy working with our clients and periodically getting to meet some of them when they stop in at the office.

In my spare time, I love spending time camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. I have 30 years experience in the customer service field and will go above and beyond to ensure that our clients receive excellent attention.
